Invitation to attend the 3rd IMPACT network event
Wednesday 21st June 2017
Streatham Court C – University of Exeter Business School
Workshop on Urgent and Emergency Care
The workshop is specific to an ongoing project on ED/MIU waiting time App development, for which we need your views. The App will deliver real-time ED/MIU waiting times and travel times for those who are in need of urgent medical attention, to make informed decisions about where to go. It is expected that this work will contribute towards reducing pressure in ED by redistributing demand for minor ailments among the MIUs. The App is being developed for Android and iPhone platforms.
Workshop Aim
To jointly develop a common understanding of the purpose and use of the App, as well as taking shared ownership and commitment for its long-term maintenance. This includes:
(a) Organisations already involved.
(b) Organisations that are considering adopting the App.
Objectives
By the end of the workshop it is expected that:
- We have a common understanding of the UX (user interface for mobile) and logo.
- We understand the data format expected for the App to function.
- We have a shared communications, marketing plan & media campaign.
- We have a plan for evidence capture.
- For those considering joining the project – we include sufficient information for you to take back.
- Go live date is agreed
